Welcome to A & W Quarter horses! My name is Andy and my wife's name is Wanda. In 1996 we decided to start raising Quarter horses. When we researched the different bloodlines, we found that Poco Bueno was just as dominating today as it was in the 50's and 60's and his offspring have dominated the cutting arena as well as other events. After talking to breeders all over the United States with 5 to 30 years experience we found that we needed an out crop bloodline. We researched and found that Sugar Bar bloodlines was a great choice since his offspring had a list of accomplishments similar to Poco Bueno's offspring. We concentrated on pedigrees, conformation, attitude, and bone structure.
Our ultimate goal is to have some horses with 25% or higher of Poco Bueno bloodlines, some with the Sugar Bar bloodlines of equal percentages and then a mixture of Sugar Bar and Poco Bueno together. We have many of these fine foundation bred quarter horses for sale.
When you build a home, your foundation is the most important because without it your home will fall apart. We believe the same is true with horses. The results of these bloodlines will produce exceptional dispositions, sound minds, and great athletic ability in horses that will take you all the way in what ever event you're interested in. We have babies on the ground and some on the way and we offer stallion services to the public. Come on in!
